SWIP is celebrating this Thursday the final project conference, gathering professionals from the industry, research centers and the public administration to make a public presentation of its main results and analyze the small wind energy sector.
Zaragoza (25/09/2017). The city of Zaragoza (Spain) will host this Thursday an international conference, in order to present the current status and perspectives of growth of the small wind energy sector, at both national and international level. The conference will count upon the participation of representatives from the European Commission, the Regional Government of Aragón and the most relevant industrial associations of the Spanish wind energy sector: the Wind Business Association or the Association of Renewable Energy Producers.
The event is organized by the SWIP coordinator CIRCE, and represents the final conference of the project. This way, the main results obtained along its 4 years of research will be presented to the audience. In this project, nine European countries have joined forces in order to overcome some of the main barriers that are hindering the massive deployment of this technology. In order to achieve so, the project has built small wind turbine, which incorporates several new solutions that the project has developed to improve the performance and operation of this technology.
