The SWIP project has been presented as part of a presentation by project partner the Baltic Energy Conservation Agency (Bałtycka Agencja Poszanowania Energii – BAPE) in Stare Pole, Pomerania, Poland on 30 October.
The event, entitled, ‘Environmental protection in agricultural holdings with the use of agri-environmental programs and renewable energy sources’, was organized by the Pomeranian Agricultural Advisory Centre and had over 100 participants. The audience was made up of local residents, policy-makers and financial institutions.
Mr. Andrzej Szajner from BAPE presented different renewable energy options for agricultural holdings, including small wind turbines and the developments of the SWIP project. Participants at the event also filled in the SWIP questionnaire on awareness of small wind turbines.
